Small Business Economy Continues To Grow Modestly

NEW YORK, Dec. 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Newtek Business Services Corp., (NASDAQ: NEWT), The Small Business Authority®, announced today the release of the SB Authority Index of small business indicators for November 2014 which reached 129.50 points.  Approved SBA lending volumes, the Russell Microcap Index and retail sales led the increase. The SB Authority Index is up 0.09% from October 2014.  On a year-over-year comparison, the SB Authority Index is up 4.88%.
